Reset forgotten password
Get back into your account by requesting a password reset link by email.
If you can't remember your password, request a reset link from the login page. ToRouter will email it to the address on file.
Reset flow
Click "Forgot password"
On portal.torouter.ai, click Forgot password? below the login form.
Enter your email
Type the email you registered with and submit. We send a reset link there regardless of whether the address exists — this prevents account enumeration. Only addresses with a real account receive a working link.
Click the reset link
Open the email and click the link. It opens a page where you set a new password.
The link is single-use and expires after a short window. If it doesn't work, return to Forgot password and request a new one.
Choose a new password
- At least 6 characters.
- Confirm by typing it twice.
Submit and you'll be redirected to login.
Log in
Sign in with your email and the new password. If you have TOTP enabled, you'll also be asked for the 6-digit code — see Two-factor auth.
What stays the same
Resetting the password does not:
- Invalidate your API keys — existing
sk-***values keep working. - Touch your billing, subscriptions, or balance.
- Disable TOTP if you had it on.
It only rotates the credential used to log in to the console.
Troubleshooting
- No email arrived — check spam; confirm you typed the exact registered address; wait a minute and try again.
- Link expired — request a fresh one from the same page.
- Lost both password and TOTP — use a recovery code at the TOTP prompt; if you've lost those too, contact your ToRouter operator.
