Terms of service
Pointer to ToRouter's binding terms plus a plain-language summary of the key user obligations.
The binding legal text lives at www.torouter.ai/terms. This page is a plain-language summary — it is not a substitute for the linked document.
For binding legal terms, read www.torouter.ai/terms. If anything on this summary page conflicts with the linked terms, the linked terms govern.
In short, you agree to
Acceptable use
- No traffic that violates your country's law or the upstream provider's policies (CSAM, sanctioned-region targeting, malware, fraud, harassment).
- No automated abuse: credential stuffing, traffic amplification, scraping of providers' undocumented endpoints.
- No reselling raw ToRouter access without our written permission. Building a product on top of ToRouter is fine — proxying it as your own gateway is not.
Payment in good faith
- Top-up payments are processed via Stripe. Chargebacks without first contacting support will result in account suspension.
- Pay-per-token charges are deducted from your balance as requests complete; subscription charges are billed at the start of each cycle.
- Refunds for unused balance are available within 30 days of top-up, minus any payment-processor fees.
Key safekeeping
- You are responsible for your API keys. Treat them like passwords: don't commit them, don't paste them in chat, don't put them in client-side code.
- A key used by anyone you gave it to is treated as your own usage.
- Rotate compromised keys immediately in
/keys.
Account integrity
- One person, one account. Multi-accounting to bypass quotas or trial limits will get all linked accounts suspended.
- Provide a real email address; we use it for billing, security alerts, and breach notifications.
What we agree to
- Best-effort uptime targets per the linked terms.
- Notification of material changes to these terms with at least 14 days' notice.
- Reasonable security practices around your data (see Privacy).
Termination
Either side can terminate. You can delete your account from Settings → Account. We can suspend or terminate for acceptable-use violations, chargebacks, or non-payment. On termination, unused pre-paid balance is refundable within 30 days of the original top-up, subject to processor fees.
Governing law & disputes
See the linked terms for the governing-law clause and dispute-resolution process applicable to your jurisdiction.
